Day Eight: Favorite female character in a comedy show

Gilmore Girls, in my opinion, is too heavy to be a comedy, but too light-hearted to be a drama, so I’m going to count it here. I was going to only say Lorelei, but I adore Rory as well. I relate to Lorelei a lot more than Rory, in a lot of ways, because part of my life is about me coming from a rather privileged existence, on my father’s side, and starting out on my own rather young with next to nothing, though I can also relate to Rory in the sense that, on my mother’s side, we didn’t have a whole lot but she did the best she could with what she had (though my mother was no Lorelei Gilmore, to say the least) and I’m turning into an okay person despite (though I think in Rory’s case it’s more because) of my mother’s influence on me and my character. I’ve always Loved this show and these women and can just relate to them in so many ways and I couldn’t only pick the one of them. :)
